Nevado Huantsán and Laguna Rajucolta, Cordillera Blanca, Peru
The massive Nevado Huantsán rises 20,895 feet into the thin air in the Cordillera Blanca in central Peru. Laguna Rajucolta sits beneath it, and occasionally receives massive ice falls from the glacier, causing huge waves.
