Spanish Civil War Defences, Cartagena
Defences covering the harbour at Cartagena, home of the Spanish Navy (Armada). This gun emplacement was built into the rock during the Spanish Civil War and camoflagued to blend into the scenary whilst offering a clear view over the entrance to the port. Cartagena is home of the Spanish Submarine Fleet as well as many surface vessels.
