Romania - Dacian Fortress of Costesti-Blidaru

The fortress was built in the first century BC, with the purpose to protect the area against Roman conquest. Located on top of Blidari (750 m) is the strongest fortified complex in this area, lying on a plateau nearly 6000 square meters. UNESCO World heritage site.
