Daniil Sihastrul Cave - Chilia lui Daniil Sihastrul
The stone carved cell or church in which Daniil Sihastrul lived a great part of his life. Daniil Sihastrul (Romanian for Daniel the Hesychast; was a renowned Romanian Orthodox spiritual guide, advisor of Stephen the Great, and hegumen of VoroneÃ⺠Monastery. The cave lies close to the Putna Monastery in Bucovina, Romania.
