The Pito o Te Henua (The Navel of the World) is a big round polished rock situated near Ahu Te Pito Kura and believed to have been brought to Easter Island by its first king,Ariki Hotu Matua'a. The rock as a high iron content and is believed to bear spiritual power granted by the gods.
