Trovanti Museum Natural Reserve
Trovant concretions at Costesti, Valcea county. Trovants are unique geological forms ranging from a few centimetres in size up to several meters. Trovants or concretions is a hard, compact mass of matter formed by the precipitation of mineral cement within the spaces between particles, and is found in sedimentary rock or soil.
