Shanti Stupa in Leh, Ladakh

In the nineties, a new and big stupa was realised in Leh, the capital of Ladakh, by the Japanese Guru Nichidatsu Fujii. It is situated on a rock overviewing the small town. People can reach this splendid viewing point by climbing irregular stairs, a 400 in total.
