The Black Madonna.
A wooden plaque with marquetry detail representing the revered icon of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa in Poland. Also known in Poland as `Our Lady of Czestochowa`. The scars on the face of the original painting was damage caused by an invading Tatars arrow.
