BasÃÂlica de Santa MarÃÂa la Real de Covadonga is church located in Covadonga, Cangas de OnÃÂs, Asturias, Spain. The temple was designed by the German architect Roberto Frassinelli and built between 1877 and 1901 by architect Federico Aparici y Soriano. It is a Neo-Romanesque church made entirely of pink limestone. It presents three naves, with transept and header finished off by three staggered apses; The naves are covered by pointed vaults. The main facade draws attention by the slender needles that top the towers. The access is formed by a porch ahead of the nave, with three arcades of a half point.
