Paul Bunyan`s Ice Cream Bowl 2

This photo was taken at Grandfather Falls Dam. The sluice pipes which bring water from the dam down the hill to the turbines are made of wood and leak like a sieve. You can see some sprinkles of water in the center of the picture. The water is colored and that is what creates the colored layers as the water alternates with white snow.
