This scene is from the ghats of river brahmapautra. Looking far away, lied a bridge called the saraighat bridge. Right where, I am standing lies a statue of Lachit Barphukan, a freddom fighter from assam, who had successfully thwarted the mughals from entering the domain of Assam. The story is another long tale. I wonder what would he feel standing right there, looking at the bridge now? If he were alive. The bridge which has been the ultimate saviour, to this day Guwahati. Connecting economy and human resources from two corners of North Guwahati and South Guwahati.
