Anuradhapura Lankarama Dagaba, Sri Lanka UNESCO World Heritage
The Lankarama stupa is one of the Eight Sacred Places known as `Atamasthana`. Built during the 1st Century BC 89-77 by King Walagamba the Great, this place was also known by the names Silasobbakantaka and Galjebakada according to historical sources.
